Tomás Carlomagno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Baldomiro Bikendi made a huge save. After 17 played minutes Defensores Alberdi Club got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Aurken. Antonio Galindo's late challenge caught a Leones's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antonio Galindo helped the player get up and apologised. After 23 played minutes Defensores Alberdi Club got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Galindo. Baldomiro Bikendi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Pereyra in the 25th minute of play. Leandro Pereyra took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baldomiro Bikendi. Baldomiro Bikendi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, Leones's Tomás Carlomagno got a free kick in the 29th minute. 32 minutes into the game, Isidoro Timo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Defensores Alberdi Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leones the free kick. Isidoro Timo kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. If Arsenio Dimo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Desiderio Ihintza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cirilo Lertxun made a kick off. Tomás Carlomagno took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baldomiro Bikendi. Baldomiro Bikendi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Tomás Carlomagno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomiro Bikendi having to interfere. Desiderio Ihintza kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Baldomiro Bikendi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Carlomagno in the 66th minute of the match. Baldomiro Bikendi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Pereyra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomás Carlomagno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baldomiro Bikendi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leandro Pereyra in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baldomiro Bikendi saved Defensores Alberdi Club from getting behind. Desiderio Ihintza hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Cipriano Ranolfo hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomás Carlomagno in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baldomiro Bikendi saved Defensores Alberdi Club from getting behind. Baldomiro Bikendi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Pereyra, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Tomás Carlomagno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomiro Bikendi having to interfere.
