In the 8th minute Gonzalo Ibon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blas Lekubegi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gonzalo Ibon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Omar Torres, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 13 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Blas Lekubegi was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Ladislao Weterio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ermegildo Osoitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Rodrigo Hanot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Omar Torres in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Blas Lekubegi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Osvaldo Lastur's late challenge caught a Caras de Nutria F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Osvaldo Lastur helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Caras de Nutria F.C. booed when Deportivo San Mario was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Lastur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gonzalo Ibon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blas Lekubegi having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Omar Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo San Mario's supporters rose to their feet, but Omar Torres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Blas Lekubegi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Blas Lekubegi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Ibon in the 34th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Caras de Nutria F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gonzalo Ibon came free, but Blas Lekubegi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 46 minutes, Omar Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo San Mario's supporters crossed their fingers, but Omar Torres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Caras de Nutria F.C. getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Ladislao Weterio hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ermegildo Osoitz made a kick off. Gonzalo Ibon in the 53rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Blas Lekubegi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 55th minute, Gonzalo Ibon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo San Mario fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Torres in the 59th minute of play forced Caras de Nutria F.C.'s goalkeeper Blas Lekubegi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gonzalo Ibon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Caras de Nutria F.C.'s Ladislao Weterio got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Ladislao Weterio charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ladislao Weterio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The long shot by Osvaldo Lastur in the 68th minute really tested Blas Lekubegi's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Caras de Nutria F.C.'s Blas Lekubegi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Caras de Nutria F.C. from getting a goal against them. If Omar Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Blas Lekubegi managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Deportivo San Mario's Gonzalo Ibon fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Blas Lekubegi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Omar Torres's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Caras de Nutria F.C.'s goalkeeper Blas Lekubegi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Deportivo San Mario booed when Caras de Nutria F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nereo Iraunkor didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Deportivo San Mario's Omar Torres got a free kick in the 91st minute.
