Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ambrosio Errando in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rigoberto Egoi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Apolo Sotero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Rigoberto Egoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The BAD HOMBRES players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Matará were winning 0-4.

In the 53rd minute of the match, Apolo Sotero tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rigoberto Egoi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Severo Cuartio ran over to the corner to take the kick. Rigoberto Egoi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aquiles Salamon in the 57th minute. BAD HOMBRES's Rigoberto Egoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save BAD HOMBRES from getting a goal against them. Apolo Sotero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Egoi having to interfere. When Aquiles Salamon came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Matará fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aquiles Salamon couldn't finish the play. Rigoberto Egoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ambrosio Errando, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. After 64 minutes BAD HOMBRES's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Severo Cuartio who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Severo Cuartio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but BAD HOMBRES's Rigoberto Egoi did a great save. Aquiles Salamon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A very good chance. 96 minutes into the match, Matará's Ambrosio Errando sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rigoberto Egoi narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
