The referee ignored Independiente FC's protests and gave Pedro Valiente a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in EL GLORIOSO MAXI's zone, Felipe Obano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgard Clementi came out of the goal and Felipe Obano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felipe Obano struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Edgard Clementi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Independiente FC. Thanks to some nice moves Enrique Bordat could shoot a difficult shot in the 76th minute, which Eustaquio Ongile however easily saved by the left post. After having played for 79 minutes, Enrique Bordat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EL GLORIOSO MAXI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrique Bordat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felipe Obano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Edgard Clementi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee gave EL GLORIOSO MAXI a penalty, 86 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Serafino Marques, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Independiente FC's Eustaquio Ongile. 1-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enrique Bordat got free with Eustaquio Ongile in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
