Maximiliano Isaio charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximiliano Isaio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Los Santos City booed when Palmar AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiliano Isaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fulgencio Dabi scored 1-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnaldo Romero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fulgencio Dabi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Arnaldo Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Palmar AFC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Jacobo Berenguer hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Los Santos City's Jairo Cordero tried to score from far away in the 13th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Los Santos City's Arnoldo Fonda got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fulgencio Dabi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the game, Silvio Gonzo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palmar AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Santos City the free kick. In the 23rd match minute, Palmar AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvio Gonzo to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the match, Palmar AFC's goalkeeper Arnaldo Romero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnoldo Fonda. Arnaldo Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulgencio Dabi in the 27th minute of play. Arnoldo Fonda struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Arnaldo Romero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Santos City. When Arnoldo Fonda came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Los Santos City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnoldo Fonda couldn't finish the play. Arnoldo Fonda struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Arnaldo Romero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Santos City. Arnaldo Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulgencio Dabi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Fabricio Serapio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonzalo Jaunti in the 52nd minute of the match. When Jairo Cordero fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Santos City's protests and gave Jairo Cordero a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Palmar AFC booed when Los Santos City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Cordero didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Gonzalo Jaunti had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabricio Serapio. Los Santos City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gonzalo Jaunti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Fulgencio Dabi might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnaldo Romero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fulgencio Dabi ran back to his position shaking his head. Fulgencio Dabi took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnaldo Romero. Arnaldo Romero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Fulgencio Dabi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Santos City's supporters rose to their feet, but Fulgencio Dabi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnaldo Romero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gonzalo Jaunti got free with Fabricio Serapio in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fulgencio Dabi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Arnaldo Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Palmar AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fulgencio Dabi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Los Santos City's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
