After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Amado Opilano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sosa AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Amado Opilano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luciano Larpe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luciano Larpe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gonzalo Eliazar went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 9 played minutes ★Estrella★ got a freekick which was hit by Elpidio Ler. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amado Opilano in the 10th minute of play forced ★Estrella★'s goalkeeper Luciano Larpe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filiberto Oliverios recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 21 minutes into the match, ★Estrella★'s goal looked a bit too open when Amado Opilano came free, but Luciano Larpe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 22 minutes, Gonzalo Eliazar made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. ★Estrella★'s Luciano Larpe tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. During the 30th minute of the match Elpidio Ler completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Elpidio Ler a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Luciano Larpe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gonzalo Eliazar's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. When Sosa AFC's Gonzalo Eliazar in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ★Estrella★'s goalie prevented a goal. Amado Opilano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Luciano Larpe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The audience was convinced that Amado Opilano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luciano Larpe was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. The supporters of Sosa AFC booed when ★Estrella★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustacio Cordeal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th match minute, ★Estrella★ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filiberto Oliverios to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gonzalo Eliazar got free with Luciano Larpe in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 70th minute Amado Opilano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Larpe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ★Estrella★'s Luciano Larpe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save ★Estrella★ from getting a goal against them. Geronimo Aragones hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, Leandro Sanchez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leopoldo Jax was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Luciano Larpe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gonzalo Eliazar in the 87th minute. Gonzalo Eliazar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Luciano Larpe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Sosa AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ★Estrella★ throughout the match.
