After a rather tough play, INDEPENDIENTE F.C's Abel Henric got a free kick in the 9th minute. If Epifanio Kepa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teofilo Bilbo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Moises Maju tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Moises Maju managed to avoid a goal in the 16thth minute, when El Equipo de Ferne's Epifanio Kepa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Abel Henric kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. INDEPENDIENTE F.C's Moises Maju proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save INDEPENDIENTE F.C from getting a goal against them. Teofilo Bilbo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Moises Maju tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcial Abechuco struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Eustacio Ereinotz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for INDEPENDIENTE F.C. Eustacio Ereinotz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcial Abechuco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eustacio Ereinotz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Todor in the 38th minute of play. After 38 played minutes El Equipo de Ferne got a freekick which was hit by Eulalio Nuno. 39 minutes into the match, Marcial Abechuco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eustacio Ereinotz. El Equipo de Ferne's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcial Abechuco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Moises Maju made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teofilo Bilbo in the 42nd minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

In the 63rd minute of the match Benito Amaya shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Moises Maju showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 64th minute Teofilo Bilbo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moises Maju saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 68 minutes, Erubiel Baraquiel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Equipo de Ferne and the INDEPENDIENTE F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 69 minutes, Marcial Abechuco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. INDEPENDIENTE F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcial Abechuco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ricardo Todor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 80 minutes, Urbano Dorio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Equipo de Ferne and the INDEPENDIENTE F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th match minute, El Equipo de Ferne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urbano Dorio to maneuver through the defense. Eustacio Ereinotz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Abechuco in the 83rd minute of the match. Moises Maju came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by El Equipo de Ferne's Epifanio Kepa. But to his dismay, Epifanio Kepa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
