Thanks to some nice moves Benjamin Opilano could shoot a difficult shot in the 14th minute, which Moises Maju however easily saved by the left post. Angelino Servando came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by INDEPENDIENTE F.C's Marcial Abechuco. But to his dismay, Marcial Abechuco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Angelino Servando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcial Abechuco, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Angelino Servando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Todor in the 26th minute of play. If Ricardo Todor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amador Bermund kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Ricardo Todor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Angelino Servando read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isidoro Etor to make the kick off. With a little luck, La Moroneta's Angelino Servando got control of the ball when Arnaldo Emenon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ricardo Todor struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. The audience was convinced that Marcial Abechuco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angelino Servando was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Todor got free with Angelino Servando in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, INDEPENDIENTE F.C's Angelino Servando threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Marcial Abechuco, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 93 minutes into the match, La Moroneta's goal looked a bit too open when Marcial Abechuco came free, but Angelino Servando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, Isidoro Etor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The La Moroneta fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. INDEPENDIENTE F.C were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
