The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. C.A.Tallerito's Nemesio Cresenciano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justino Mantzio in the 4th minute of play. Angelino Porfirio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Denis Nesor having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Improvisados FC's zone, Angelino Porfirio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Denis Nesor came out of the goal and Angelino Porfirio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Casimiro Palos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Denis Nesor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute, Nestor Austin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Casimiro Palos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Nesor having to interfere. Casimiro Palos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Casimiro Palos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Casimiro Palos managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A.Tallerito's supporters rose to their feet, but Casimiro Palos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denis Nesor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Improvisados FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Nestor Austin hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute Justino Mantzio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nemesio Cresenciano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Aquiles Oliviero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelino Porfirio struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Denis Nesor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A.Tallerito. The supporters of C.A.Tallerito booed when Improvisados FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Bartolome didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angelino Porfirio was the one to do the kick off. Denis Nesor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casimiro Palos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 62 played minutes Improvisados FC got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Austin. The audience thought a goal was coming when Justino Mantzio got free with Nemesio Cresenciano in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Improvisados FC booed when C.A.Tallerito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Darien didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 73 minutes, Aquiles Oliviero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Improvisados FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aquiles Oliviero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Javier Sidro hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Justino Mantzio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Nemesio Cresenciano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th match minute, Improvisados FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Austin to maneuver through the defense. Casimiro Palos struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Denis Nesor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A.Tallerito. Angelino Porfirio took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Denis Nesor. Denis Nesor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the C.A.Tallerito players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
