After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Placido Itzaina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Buitres FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Placido Itzaina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marciano Eguntsenti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 46 minutes into the match, Placido Itzaina had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marciano Eguntsenti. rosarioCentral's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Placido Itzaina was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Angelino Oidor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Segundo Ibon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Roberto Lehior's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Matias Txerran firmly grabbed it by the left post. Buitres FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
