Placido Itzaina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Desiderio Sol read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Mansilla FC's Desiderio Sol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anibal Millano in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, Ambrosio Galoer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. A hard shot by Domingo Oxarra from long distance, 14 minutes into the match, got Desiderio Sol's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Desiderio Sol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anibal Millano in the 17th minute of play. Desiderio Sol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelino Oidor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Elvio Claus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Buitres FC's Matias Txerran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Epifanio Ibon in the 25th minute of play. After 29 played minutes Buitres FC got a freekick which was hit by Anibal Millano. Honorato Rojelio hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Ambrosio Galoer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Matias Txerran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

A collision led to Buitres FC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Honorato Rojelio hit a great ball. If Placido Itzaina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Higinio Ikatz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Matias Txerran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Buitres FC's Basilio Eskuin got a free kick in the 59th minute. Epifanio Ibon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aldo Orland kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Ambrosio Galoer got his second yellow card in the match during the 72nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Mansilla FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Ambrosio Galoer hit a great ball. After 74 played minutes Mansilla FC got a freekick which was hit by Elvio Claus. After having played for 78 minutes, Aldo Orland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mansilla FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aldo Orland was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jose Daunte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Placido Itzaina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elvio Claus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Epifanio Ibon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Mansilla FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Buitres FC throughout the match.
