After having played for 12 minutes, Esteve Firmin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miami Heat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esteve Firmin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Remigio Mateus didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Geronimo Iyan went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Geronimo Iyan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Remigio Mateus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Remigio Mateus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorato Iyan in the 20th minute of play. Angel Loi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteve Firmin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastian Chayo struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Angel Loi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Miami Heat. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Sebastian Chayo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Miami Heat's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Chayo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angel Loi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 28 minutes into the game, Esteve Firmin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Miami Heat's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chepes the free kick. Esteve Firmin hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Chepes's Leonardo Gurutz got a free kick in the 34th minute. Sebastian Chayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Chepes getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Jairo Santo hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute, Geronimo Iyan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chepes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. A sloppy throw-in by Justo Jakobe in the 47th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Miami Heat's Cleto Cresconio. After the first half Chepes were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Geronimo Iyan made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute Geronimo Iyan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remigio Mateus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th match minute, Miami Heat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filomeno Garin to maneuver through the defense. Miami Heat's Dionisio Peter managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Amador Rey in the 61 minute of the game. In the 69th play minute Honorato Iyan came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Remigio Mateus. 0-4. Through an outstanding action, after 72 minutes, Remigio Mateus successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Miami Heat's Teofilo Ricart got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After 74 played minutes Chepes got a freekick which was hit by Justo Jakobe. In the 90th minute Sebastian Chayo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Loi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Honorato Iyan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Remigio Mateus made a huge save. In the 96th match minute, Miami Heat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofilo Ricart to maneuver through the defense. Although Miami Heat had been in control for most of the match, Chepes still came away with the win.
