After a defensive mix-up in Despertador FC's zone, Julio Iaki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delmar Gizon came out of the goal and Julio Iaki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 26th minute Tadeo Acosta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teo Reynardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute, Julio Iaki made a precise shot to the right of Delmar Gizon. Despertador FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. If Sergio Truylos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teo Reynardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeo Acosta in the 39th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julio Iaki to make the kick off. Julio Iaki might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Delmar Gizon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Julio Iaki ran back to his position shaking his head. Feliciano Urtun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Delmar Gizon made a huge save. Rancul FC's Julio Iaki was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 60th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 62 played minutes Rancul FC got a freekick which was hit by Dalmacio Bartuelo. Teo Reynardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno Dominguez in the 66th minute of the match. With a little luck, Despertador FC's Delmar Gizon got control of the ball when Julio Iaki tried to sneak it across the goal line. Genaro Cilio kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75th match minute, Rancul FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalmacio Bartuelo to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute Godofredo Lastur suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Despertador FC's Delmar Gizon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Iaki in the 81st minute of play. Delmar Gizon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Iaki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rancul FC's Feliciano Urtun got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 89th minute of the match Emilio Peter sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Delmar Gizon skillfully saved the ball. In the 97th minute, Tadeo Acosta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teo Reynardo was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-7.
