Spectators: 7069 (Terracing: 5403, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 10) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nunez Lesardo took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Dionisio Adrio came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Yalapa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dionisio Adrio couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Yalapa booed when Batea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacobo Mannuel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Batea's Melquiades Abadie got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomas Karmel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melquiades Abadie in the 12th minute of the match. In the 13th match minute, Yalapa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Orti to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute, Lino Claus made a precise shot to the right of Tomas Karmel. Yalapa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Nunez Lesardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Dabi having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dionisio Adrio in the 24th minute of play forced Batea's goalkeeper Federico Dabi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Yalapa's Nunez Lesardo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. An unexpected shot in the 41st minute by Melquiades Abadie got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 59th match minute, Yalapa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Larpe to maneuver through the defense. 63 minutes into the match, Batea's goalkeeper Federico Dabi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dionisio Adrio. Christian Larpe kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Lino Claus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomas Karmel was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Tomas Karmel came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Batea's Melquiades Abadie. But to his dismay, Melquiades Abadie quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. If Melquiades Abadie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dionisio Adrio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Federico Dabi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Batea's Jacobo Mannuel got a free kick in the 97th minute. 98 minutes into the match, Batea's goalkeeper Federico Dabi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dionisio Adrio. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Batea fans cheered their team off the field, for while Yalapa had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
