In the 4thth minute of the game Dario Hustaz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yalapa's Tomas Karmel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dario Hustaz in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomas Karmel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alcides Calçada made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teodoro Orti in the 7th minute. Le´s Puses F.C.'s Alcides Calçada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nunez Lesardo in the 9th minute of play. Alcides Calçada made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Dionisio Adrio sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nunez Lesardo in the 11th minute of play forced Le´s Puses F.C.'s goalkeeper Alcides Calçada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Le´s Puses F.C.'s Alcides Calçada proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Le´s Puses F.C. from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Le´s Puses F.C. booed when Yalapa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Heli didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute Dario Hustaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Karmel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reynaldo Banegas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Tomas Karmel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Dario Hustaz notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Yalapa's Tomas Karmel. Tomas Karmel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 34 minutes into the game, Reynaldo Banegas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Tomas Karmel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 37th minute, Dario Hustaz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomas Karmel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. If Dario Hustaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dario Hustaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Tomas Karmel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The wind increased when Dario Hustaz made the kick off in the second half. If Nunez Lesardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Karmel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reynaldo Banegas went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reynaldo Banegas got free with Tomas Karmel in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Dario Hustaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Reynaldo Banegas struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Tomas Karmel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Le´s Puses F.C.. The audience was convinced that Dario Hustaz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomas Karmel was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. In the 78th minute, Le´s Puses F.C.'s Venancio Aritza ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tomas Karmel. Tomas Karmel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. Le´s Puses F.C.'s Reynaldo Banegas got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomas Karmel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reynaldo Banegas in the 88th minute. Teodoro Orti's late challenge caught a Le´s Puses F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodoro Orti helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Yalapa getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Teodoro Orti hit a great ball. Le´s Puses F.C.'s Reynaldo Banegas got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomas Karmel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Hustaz in the 93rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Yalapa's Teodoro Orti got a free kick in the 97th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Yalapa's zone, Dario Hustaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomas Karmel came out of the goal and Dario Hustaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Le´s Puses F.C. played a much better game than Yalapa and deserved their victory. The Yalapa players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
