Spectators: 7217 (Terracing: 5414, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Blas Lehoi took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ledesma AFC's zone, Dionisio Adrio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Modesto Azeari came out of the goal and Dionisio Adrio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nunez Lesardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 26 played minutes Ledesma AFC got a freekick which was hit by Eriberto Ospetsu. Dionisio Adrio took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Modesto Azeari. Modesto Azeari dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After the first half Yalapa were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nunez Lesardo to make the kick off. When Christian Larpe fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yalapa's protests and gave Christian Larpe a yellow card for diving instead. After 53 played minutes Yalapa got a freekick which was hit by Christian Larpe. Damian Urbez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Karmel having to interfere. Yalapa's Dionisio Adrio got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nunez Lesardo in the 63rd minute of play forced Ledesma AFC's goalkeeper Modesto Azeari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Modesto Azeari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nunez Lesardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Blas Lehoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Karmel having to interfere. Dionisio Adrio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Modesto Azeari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teodoro Orti's late challenge caught a Ledesma AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodoro Orti helped the player get up and apologised. After 80th play minutes Damian Urbez shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Tomas Karmel and just under the crossbar into goal. Modesto Azeari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nunez Lesardo in the 89th minute of play. If Dionisio Adrio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Modesto Azeari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nunez Lesardo in the 91st minute of the match.
