Spectators: 7074 (Terracing: 5306, Seating: 1627, VIP seats: 141) Aurelio Toribio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Calvet, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Sebastian Calvet blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aurelio Toribio having to make a save. Aurelio Toribio was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Andres Ekhi. In the 15th minute, Sebastian Elazar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nemesio Hug took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ariel Paio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Melquiades Gaufred recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Primera Junta's zone, Melquiades Gaufred stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nemesio Hug came out of the goal and Melquiades Gaufred tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sebastian Calvet in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aurelio Toribio saved Gualeguay from getting behind. Primera Junta's Nemesio Hug played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariel Paio in the 36th minute of play. After 39 played minutes Gualeguay got a freekick which was hit by Aquiles Donostia. Sebastian Calvet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Sebastian Elazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Melquiades Gaufred to make the kick off. If Rosendo Norino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Primera Junta's Benigno Asteri got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Melquiades Gaufred recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Primera Junta's goalkeeper Nemesio Hug had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ariel Paio. Benigno Asteri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sebastian Elazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Toribio having to interfere. Aurelio Toribio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Elazar in the 66th minute of the match. When Melquiades Gaufred fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gualeguay's protests and gave Melquiades Gaufred a yellow card for diving instead. In the 71st minute, Melquiades Gaufred hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rosendo Norino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Toribio having to interfere. Teofilo Vistruario hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Melquiades Gaufred in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nemesio Hug prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sebastian Elazar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Calvet in the 89th minute of play forced Gualeguay's goalkeeper Aurelio Toribio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gualeguay's zone, Sebastian Elazar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelio Toribio came out of the goal and Sebastian Elazar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ariel Paio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Nemesio Hug tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
