After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Florentino Sasoin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fabian Hernando did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Edgard Todor 48 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jimeno Pueblo made the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Fernan Eztebe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Renato and the Fátima FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 54 played minutes Renato got a freekick which was hit by Fernan Eztebe. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Fátima FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Renato had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
