The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Esteve Venceslas during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 19 played minutes Tarucha FC got a freekick which was hit by Bonifacio Arano. If Fabian Hernando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristobal Inocente hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Fabian Hernando struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Bernardo Fernanco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabian Hernando to make the kick off. The referee ignored Tarucha FC's protests and gave Lucio Enol a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Tarucha FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Lucio Enol hit a great ball. 56 minutes into the match, Tarucha FC's goalkeeper Bernardo Fernanco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amancio Precioso. A hard shot by Javier Peruanton from long distance, 59 minutes into the match, got Bernardo Fernanco's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Fátima FC's Amancio Precioso got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Cristobal Inocente fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Fátima FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
