The crowd rose to their feet as Jimeno Pueblo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Honorio Milio. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. Edgard Todor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giorgos Zouboulis in the 6th minute of the match. Giorgos Zouboulis hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. INTER FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Jimeno Pueblo scored to the left of an out of position Honorio Milio, making the score, 2-0. Giorgos Zouboulis scored 2-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgard Todor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tomás Mikeldi hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Edgard Todor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vassilis Sklavenitis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Giorgos Zouboulis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Todor having to interfere. Edgard Todor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Hotz in the 25th minute of the match. If Giorgos Zouboulis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When INTER FC's Roman Hotz in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Renato's goalie prevented a goal. Roman Hotz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Todor having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Giorgos Zouboulis to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Giorgos Zouboulis notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Renato's Edgard Todor. Edgard Todor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 64 minutes, Roman Hotz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. INTER FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roman Hotz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edgard Todor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Giorgos Zouboulis in the 72nd minute. INTER FC's Roman Hotz got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 76 minutes into the game, Segundo Cresconio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Renato's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave INTER FC the free kick. Gonzalo Gutxi was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 78 minutes into the match. A collision led to INTER FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Gonzalo Gutxi hit a great ball. With a little luck, Renato's Edgard Todor got control of the ball when Vassilis Sklavenitis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Giorgos Zouboulis came free with the goalkeeper in the 84th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Edgard Todor could save by the left post. Giorgos Zouboulis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Edgard Todor made a huge save. Giorgos Zouboulis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Renato's zone, Vassilis Sklavenitis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgard Todor came out of the goal and Vassilis Sklavenitis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eustacio Mateo hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Giorgos Zouboulis in the 95thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Edgard Todor, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match was over INTER FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Renato throughout the match.
