Spectators: 7056 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 1) Jimeno Pueblo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Segundo Aznaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Tomás Mikeldi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Renato's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomás Mikeldi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angel Mercurio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edgard Todor was a little too slow when Miguel Oinaz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 1-0. Tomás Mikeldi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute Tomás Mikeldi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Mercurio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angel Mercurio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Renato's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Oinaz came free, but Edgard Todor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgard Todor made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Segundo Aznaro sent off a good shot on target. In the 33rd match minute, Renato was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernan Eztebe to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute Miguel Oinaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgard Todor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute Tomás Mikeldi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Mercurio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angel Mercurio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Mikeldi in the 40th minute of play. Edgard Todor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Segundo Aznaro in the 48th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miguel Oinaz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes, Florentino Sasoin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Renato and the lf4 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 55th minute, Florentino Sasoin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Renato defense, Miguel Oinaz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgard Todor. The Renato fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgard Todor should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Renato's Fernan Eztebe got a free kick in the 77th minute. A collision led to Renato getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Fernan Eztebe hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacobo Janpier during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimeno Pueblo in the 82nd minute of play forced lf4's goalkeeper Angel Mercurio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Renato's Fernan Eztebe got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 86th minute, Segundo Aznaro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Miguel Oinaz came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the lf4 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Oinaz couldn't finish the play. Jimeno Pueblo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Mercurio having to interfere. Miguel Oinaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The lf4 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Renato had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
