The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 8 minutes into the match, Enrique Erroman dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Diego Xabel, 1-0. Diadema's Diego Xabel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Erroman in the 12th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Arcadia's Tomas Sarracino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Severo Sidoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute, Jairo Telesforo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Constantino Dimo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristobal Domenec in the 34th minute of the match. Jairo Telesforo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Constantino Dimo having to make a save. Severo Sidoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantino Dimo having to interfere. 45 minutes into the game, Diadema's Jairo Telesforo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Constantino Dimo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 49 minutes into the match, Arcadia's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Telesforo came free, but Constantino Dimo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

In the 55th minute Tomas Sarracino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Xabel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diadema's Cristobal Domenec got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jairo Telesforo might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Constantino Dimo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jairo Telesforo ran back to his position shaking his head. Diadema's Diego Xabel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Sarracino in the 67th minute of play. Arcadia's Constantino Dimo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Arcadia from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Luis Rafel took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Constantino Dimo to make any attempt to save it. In the 76th minute, Severo Sidoro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 83rd play minute Jairo Telesforo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Constantino Dimo. 2-3. Jairo Telesforo might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Constantino Dimo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jairo Telesforo ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Tomas Sarracino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Diego Xabel was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. The Arcadia fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Diadema were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
