Bernardino Hibai's late challenge caught a Berracos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernardino Hibai helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th minute, Bernardino Hibai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute of the match Prudencio Bixintxo shot from a long distance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ceferino Gorosti got free with Jimeno Iaki in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ceferino Gorosti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luis Esiquio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ceferino Gorosti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Deportivo Almela getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Bernabe Unai hit a great ball. Prudencio Bixintxo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 29th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of Deportivo Almela booed when Berracos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Modesto Osmundo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evelio Galtero got free with Jimeno Iaki in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 35 minutes into the game, Luis Esiquio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Deportivo Almela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Berracos FC the free kick. In the 40th minute of the match Prudencio Bixintxo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jack McRobbie skillfully saved the ball. Ceferino Gorosti did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Jimeno Iaki 44 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ceferino Gorosti made a kick off. When Ceferino Gorosti came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Deportivo Almela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ceferino Gorosti couldn't finish the play. Deportivo Almela's Ceferino Gorosti got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 57th minute Vinicio Janpier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimeno Iaki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Mariano Orain came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Berracos FC fans jumped to their feet. After a rather tough play, Berracos FC's Modesto Osmundo got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 65 minutes into the match, Berracos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ceferino Gorosti came free, but Jimeno Iaki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Almela's Luis Esiquio got a free kick in the 67th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Berracos FC's zone, Ceferino Gorosti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jimeno Iaki came out of the goal and Ceferino Gorosti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filomeno Hermelando during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 96th match minute, Berracos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filomeno Hermelando to maneuver through the defense. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Deportivo Almela had played much better football throughout.
