Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adolfo Ganix to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Los Chacales's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Ritchie came free, but Roman Ciano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cosme Llope showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Nardo in the 58th minute of the match. Roman Ciano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Igor Ritchie went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of RIVER booed when Los Chacales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Tanio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Federico Quin in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal.
