The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alessandro Vides took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Calisto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th minute Silverio Padro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nemesio Haitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alessandro Vides made an important save on a dangerous shot by Narciso Inocente in the 12th minute. Alessandro Vides showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Calisto in the 14th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, Silverio Padro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Nemesio Haitz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Silverio Padro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nemesio Haitz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. In the 30th minute Silverio Padro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nemesio Haitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alessandro Vides showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergio Calisto, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. If Silverio Padro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Alvaro Vergaray managed to get in a good position for a shot. Norfolk City's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvaro Vergaray was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nemesio Haitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Silverio Padro struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Nemesio Haitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Norfolk City. Nemesio Haitz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silverio Padro went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sergio Calisto made a kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Norfolk City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Loren to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute, Eloy Asur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nemesio Haitz was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Bernardo Loren. In the 70th minute, Silverio Padro fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Nemesio Haitz, passed just outside the right post. In the 74th minute Narciso Inocente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro Vides saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sergio Calisto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Alessandro Vides tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Narciso Inocente made a precise shot to the right of Alessandro Vides. Norfolk City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. In the 83rd match minute, Norfolk City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baltasar Abeita to maneuver through the defense. Alvaro Vergaray's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nemesio Haitz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Bernardo Loren shot the penalty kick right outside the post. 93 minutes into the game, Alvaro Vergaray was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Norfolk City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caribbean Club the free kick. Alvaro Vergaray kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Alessandro Vides made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Calisto in the 97th minute of play. Silverio Padro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Nemesio Haitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norfolk City's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
