An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiburcio Sagrario in the 44th minute of play forced Harp Blues FC's goalkeeper Ramiro Elixio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Ciriaco Estavan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ramiro Elixio. Harp Blues FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ciriaco Estavan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1.

The wind increased when Tadeo Tirso made the kick off in the second half. Leopoldo Rafel kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Ciriaco Estavan charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ciriaco Estavan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 62nd match minute, Atenas -cba- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciriaco Estavan to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute, Alberto Feliz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pablo Gudesteo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. If Tiburcio Sagrario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pablo Gudesteo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Feliz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tadeo Tirso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Ramiro Elixio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89thth minute of the game Alberto Feliz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atenas -cba-'s Pablo Gudesteo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 90th minute Cesar Izel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Gudesteo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pablo Gudesteo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cesar Izel's shot from short distance in the 99th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Harp Blues FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Atenas -cba- had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
