The supporters of Milagro booed when Harp Blues FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgilio Tabb didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Alberto Feliz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Harp Blues FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Feliz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Genaro Roderigo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Alberto Feliz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Javier Euloxu during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Genaro Roderigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Feliz, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Milagro's goal looked a bit too open when Cesar Izel came free, but Genaro Roderigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Harp Blues FC's Leopoldo Abajas got a free kick in the 45th minute. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by Harp Blues FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bruno Sauveur was slow to take the kick. During this time Milagro's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Milagro's corner Bruno Sauveur fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ramiro Elixio quite easily take care of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alberto Feliz to make the kick off. Harp Blues FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Milagro the free kick. In the 60th minute, Serafin Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jairo Quinto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute.
