Rodolfo Umea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Jaime Mendebal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Parque Chacabuco FC's Sebastian Abreu got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jaime Mendebal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodolfo Umea's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. If Herminio Terciero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaime Mendebal was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rodolfo Umea showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 46 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Niceto Dantae to make the kick off. After 58 minutes, Arsenio Veremundo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Piñalitos AFC and the Parque Chacabuco FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Piñalitos AFC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Arsenio Veremundo hit a great ball. In the 61st minute, Arsenio Veremundo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Rodolfo Umea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Parque Chacabuco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodolfo Umea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jaime Mendebal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sebastian Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victoriano Iruinea got free with Kayhan Behram in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Rodolfo Umea sped through Piñalitos AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jaime Mendebal. After 95 minutes Piñalitos AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Siro Rutenio who took care of the corner kick. Parque Chacabuco FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Siro Rutenio in the 97th minute. A nice corner shot did that Siro Rutenio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jaime Mendebal quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Parque Chacabuco FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
