Fabián Passet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bree McCollion recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rodolfo Nardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elpidio Rufo in the 7th minute of the match. DOUGLAS HAIG's Bruno Gimenez got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Victoriano Guerau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 10 minutes into the match, Conesa's Victoriano Guerau sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodolfo Nardo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Victoriano Guerau received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rodolfo Nardo came out and tried to block the shot, but Victoriano Guerau slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 10th minute. In the 22nd minute of the match, Remigio Behe tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rodolfo Nardo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, Conesa's Severino Lauren got a free kick in the 26th minute. Elpidio Rufo scored 2-0 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rodolfo Nardo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. DOUGLAS HAIG's Rodolfo Nardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remigio Behe in the 36th minute of play. Remigio Behe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rodolfo Nardo having to make a save. If Elpidio Rufo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Elpidio Rufo made the kick off in the second half. Conesa's Fabián Passet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Conesa from getting a goal against them. Fabián Passet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingos Urtzi in the 56th minute of the match. Elpidio Rufo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Nardo having to interfere. Bruno Gimenez charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bruno Gimenez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 63rd match minute, DOUGLAS HAIG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Gimenez to maneuver through the defense. 65 minutes into the game, Conesa's Elpidio Rufo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodolfo Nardo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Gimenez got free with Fabián Passet in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remigio Behe in the 70th minute of play forced DOUGLAS HAIG's goalkeeper Rodolfo Nardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Domingos Urtzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabián Passet having to interfere. Rodolfo Nardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elpidio Rufo in the 74th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Conesa's goal looked a bit too open when Domingos Urtzi came free, but Fabián Passet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Remigio Behe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodolfo Nardo was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Domingos Urtzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabián Passet having to interfere. In the 88th minute Victoriano Guerau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Nardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valentin Cugat kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in DOUGLAS HAIG's zone, Elpidio Rufo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodolfo Nardo came out of the goal and Elpidio Rufo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Conesa walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
