Spectators: 7280 (Terracing: 5462, Seating: 1674, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Elpidio Rufo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Conesa's Elpidio Rufo got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 11th minute, Omar Baraquiel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodolfo Nardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Rufo in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute Domingos Urtzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabián Passet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Domingos Urtzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Fabián Passet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Remigio Behe might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rodolfo Nardo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Remigio Behe ran back to his position shaking his head. After 24 minutes, Efrain Oro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Conesa and the DOUGLAS HAIG players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 24th minute, one of Conesa:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Conesa. If Elpidio Rufo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the game, Conesa's Bree McCollion nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodolfo Nardo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some careless play in the DOUGLAS HAIG defense, Ruben Urdaspal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodolfo Nardo. The DOUGLAS HAIG fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodolfo Nardo should have stopped the shot. Rodolfo Nardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remigio Behe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

After a defensive mix-up in DOUGLAS HAIG's zone, Bree McCollion stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodolfo Nardo came out of the goal and Bree McCollion tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 54 in the game by Victoriano Guerau from a close distance when the talented Rodolfo Nardo managed to make a qualified save. DOUGLAS HAIG's players were relieved. Elpidio Rufo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to DOUGLAS HAIG getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Valentin Cugat hit a great ball. Valentin Cugat hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. If Remigio Behe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bree McCollion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the match, Conesa's Bree McCollion sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodolfo Nardo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Conesa's Bree McCollion got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cirilo Micael hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 84th match minute, DOUGLAS HAIG was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Jorrin to maneuver through the defense. If Elpidio Rufo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 88th minute, Bree McCollion got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elpidio Rufo took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodolfo Nardo. Rodolfo Nardo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Elpidio Rufo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Nardo having to interfere. Conesa played a much better game than DOUGLAS HAIG and deserved their victory. The DOUGLAS HAIG players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
