An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Dantae in the 8th minute of play forced Franco FC's goalkeeper Victorio Rolado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute, Bernabe Bonadona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felix Dantae received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Victorio Rolado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernabe Bonadona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorio Rolado having to interfere. In the 17th match minute, Franco FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Duarte to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute, Felix Dantae got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Everardo Sauveur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernardo Rafe's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernardo Rafe during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Teodosio Galoer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Everardo Sauveur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Everardo Sauveur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Rafe in the 39th minute of play. Victorio Rolado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernabe Bonadona in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernardo Rafe was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Bernardo Rafe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Franco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo Rafe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Everardo Sauveur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bernabe Bonadona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 66th minute, Hugo Baladi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Franco FC's Marcelino Sansone got a free kick in the 70th minute. If Felix Dantae had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victorio Rolado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernabe Bonadona, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After 78 played minutes Sportivo La Candela got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Miro. When Bernardo Rafe came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Franco FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardo Rafe couldn't finish the play. Bernardo Rafe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Sauveur having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 89th minute by Teodosio Galoer got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 91st minute Bernabe Bonadona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victorio Rolado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
