Seating: 1651, VIP seats: 142) Ycuha AFC's Severiano Rico started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Paulo Gipuzkoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severiano Rico in the 3rd minute of play. Ycuha AFC's Ismael Lope played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Oalo in the 8th minute of play. Paulo Gipuzkoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severiano Rico, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Isaias Rudolfo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Rafael Uhin came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Marull fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafael Uhin couldn't finish the play. Severiano Rico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Severiano Rico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 29 minutes into the game, one of Marull:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Amador Ourente walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Isaias Rudolfo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Gipuzkoa having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Isaias Rudolfo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ycuha AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaias Rudolfo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Gipuzkoa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 36th match minute, Marull was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marciano Arce to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafael Uhin got free with Ismael Lope in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Angelino Ermengol hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rafael Uhin was the one to do the kick off. If Freddy Maureo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severiano Rico struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Paulo Gipuzkoa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ycuha AFC. Paulo Gipuzkoa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severiano Rico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Severiano Rico might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo Gipuzkoa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Severiano Rico ran back to his position shaking his head. Through an outstanding action, after 67 minutes, Paulo Gipuzkoa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Rafael Uhin struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Ismael Lope didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marull. The audience was convinced that Severiano Rico's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulo Gipuzkoa was relentless in the 94th minute of the game.
