Spectators: 7216 (Terracing: 5413, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cristo Aztore kicked off to start the match. Angelino Ermengol hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Paulo Gipuzkoa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Lonzo in the 7th minute of the match. Cristo Aztore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Paulo Gipuzkoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Marull's goal looked a bit too open when Teofilo Lonzo came free, but Paulo Gipuzkoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th minute, Teofilo Lonzo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulo Gipuzkoa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Rafael Uhin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Jerico having to interfere. If Cristo Aztore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teofilo Lonzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Paulo Gipuzkoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo Gipuzkoa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristo Aztore's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Cristo Aztore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Gipuzkoa having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristo Aztore in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulo Gipuzkoa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marull's Paulo Gipuzkoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Lonzo in the 41st minute of play. Ovidio Jaizki hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the match, Colón de Santa Fe's Siro Cordeiro broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After the first half Colón de Santa Fe were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Paulo Gipuzkoa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristo Aztore's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. In the 60th minute, Colón de Santa Fe's Cristo Aztore ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Paulo Gipuzkoa. Paulo Gipuzkoa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. A collision led to Marull getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Marciano Arce hit a great ball. Paulo Gipuzkoa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teofilo Lonzo in the 71st minute. In the 72nd minute Cristo Aztore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Gipuzkoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teofilo Lonzo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th minute, Aristides Ordono fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Freddy Gamus hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Teofilo Lonzo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colón de Santa Fe's supporters rose to their feet, but Teofilo Lonzo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Gipuzkoa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teofilo Lonzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute.
