Necol AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Victorio Abilio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastian Justin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sebastian Justin came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Necol AFC's Froilan Baudelio. But to his dismay, Froilan Baudelio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Froilan Baudelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Domingo Licerio fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored APRILIA's protests and gave Domingo Licerio a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 played minutes APRILIA got a freekick which was hit by Domingo Licerio. In the 24th minute Fermin Vellito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Justin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Constantino Venceslao stood somewhat misplaced when Adan Fidensio came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 32 minute. Lisandro Frans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Constantino Venceslao tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Necol AFC's zone, Adan Fidensio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Constantino Venceslao came out of the goal and Adan Fidensio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Froilan Baudelio to make the kick off. Adan Fidensio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fermin Vellito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Fermin Vellito came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Necol AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fermin Vellito couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Frans in the 66th minute of play forced Necol AFC's goalkeeper Constantino Venceslao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Domingo Licerio got his second yellow card in the match during the 68th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Necol AFC booed when APRILIA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Domingo Licerio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lisandro Frans blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Constantino Venceslao having to make a save. Froilan Baudelio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Sebastian Justin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carolo Shantala charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carolo Shantala the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fermin Vellito might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sebastian Justin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fermin Vellito ran back to his position shaking his head. Sebastian Justin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Froilan Baudelio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Necol AFC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Victorio Abilio hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Necol AFC's zone, Lisandro Frans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Constantino Venceslao came out of the goal and Lisandro Frans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Lisandro Frans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
