In the 6th minute, David Montrell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 8 played minutes Mechongué got a freekick which was hit by Victorio Cortez. Amado Lia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Albano Nayely went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Valentin Manny made in the 18th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Mechongué's Isaias Suero. In the 18th minute, Godfredo Pirro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mechongué fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Godfredo Pirro sped through FortinerosCaserosClub's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Amado Lia. Amado Lia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godfredo Pirro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Godfredo Pirro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Godfredo Pirro sped through FortinerosCaserosClub's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Amado Lia. The supporters of Mechongué booed when FortinerosCaserosClub was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicasio Ponciano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, FortinerosCaserosClub's German Abajas got a free kick in the 36th minute. Carlos Ospin kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. FortinerosCaserosClub's Amado Lia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albano Nayely in the 40th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mariano Egoi to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Mechongué's Albano Nayely slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Amado Lia. That made the score 0-6 after 51 minutes of play. Filomeno Turi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th minute Godfredo Pirro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amado Lia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amado Lia was a little too slow when Albano Nayely got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 0-7. 64 minutes into the match, Godfredo Pirro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amado Lia. FortinerosCaserosClub's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Godfredo Pirro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. Godfredo Pirro hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Egoi in the 67th minute of play forced Mechongué's goalkeeper Nestor Peli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amado Lia came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Mechongué's Filomeno Turi. But to his dismay, Filomeno Turi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. If Godfredo Pirro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Nicasio Ponciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nestor Peli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Balasi in the 83rd minute of play. When Mechongué's Godfredo Pirro in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FortinerosCaserosClub's goalie prevented a goal. If Godfredo Pirro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, FortinerosCaserosClub's Valentin Manny got a free kick in the 91st minute. After some careless play in the FortinerosCaserosClub defense, Godfredo Pirro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amado Lia. The FortinerosCaserosClub fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amado Lia should have stopped the shot. When the match was over Mechongué could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FortinerosCaserosClub throughout the match.
