Godfredo Pirro struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Gonzalo Gudesteo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mechongué. Mechongué's Benicio Peruxu pulled a muscle in his back after 44 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, David Montrell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mechongué's supporters rose to their feet, but David Montrell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gonzalo Gudesteo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

The wind increased when Dalmacio Quin made the kick off in the second half. Albano Nayely sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
