Inocencio Marques charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Inocencio Marques the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Mechongué booed when Mañana Le Digo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inocencio Marques didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 13 played minutes Mañana Le Digo got a freekick which was hit by Eriberto Francis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godfredo Pirro in the 14th minute of play forced Mañana Le Digo's goalkeeper İsmail Hakkı İmge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Serafin Baraquiel got free with Nestor Peli in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Benicio Peruxu fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mechongué's protests and gave Benicio Peruxu a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Mañana Le Digo booed when Mechongué was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benicio Peruxu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Eugenio Iruinea sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Mechongué's Nestor Peli didn't even have to move. 24 minutes in the game, Godfredo Pirro dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Filomeno Turi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Siro Gaitan fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mañana Le Digo's protests and gave Siro Gaitan a yellow card for diving instead. Siro Gaitan kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Filomeno Turi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without İsmail Hakkı İmge having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Godfredo Pirro in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck İsmail Hakkı İmge prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 33 minutes Mañana Le Digo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Godfredo Pirro who took care of the corner kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Jeronimo Reno advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-2 in the 34th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mañana Le Digo's zone, Godfredo Pirro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. İsmail Hakkı İmge came out of the goal and Godfredo Pirro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. İsmail Hakkı İmge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godfredo Pirro in the 40th minute of the match. Nestor Peli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justo Enmanuel, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Siro Gaitan made in the 44th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Serafin Baraquiel however managed to control. In the 45th minute, one of Mechongué:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mechongué. When the match had been going on for 47 minutes, Mañana Le Digo's Eugenio Iruinea got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Nestor Peli. After the first half Mechongué were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Godfredo Pirro made a kick off. Carlos Ruy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 58 minutes into the game, Mechongué's David Montrell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. İsmail Hakkı İmge made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. İsmail Hakkı İmge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godfredo Pirro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, Godfredo Pirro notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Mañana Le Digo's İsmail Hakkı İmge. İsmail Hakkı İmge was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Godfredo Pirro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Godfredo Pirro was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 82nd minute. Mechongué's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a defensive mix-up in Mañana Le Digo's zone, David Montrell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albano Nayely's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but İsmail Hakkı İmge read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. After 88 minutes, Nicanor Cesaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mañana Le Digo and the Mechongué players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 88th match minute, Mañana Le Digo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicanor Cesaro to maneuver through the defense. Albano Nayely sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Mechongué's David Montrell got a free kick in the 96th minute. Eugenio Iruinea took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 98th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Nestor Peli. Mechongué's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mechongué's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
