After a rather tough play, Resistencia Central's Octavio Quirce got a free kick in the 14th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Resistencia Central's zone, Mariano Egoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gonzalo Gudesteo came out of the goal and Mariano Egoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gonzalo Gudesteo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Egoi in the 20th minute of the match. Gonzalo Gudesteo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Balasi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Justo Xabat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Amado Lia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Denis Balasi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 32 minutes, Mariano Egoi made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Resistencia Central's Gonzalo Gudesteo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The FortinerosCaserosClub fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The Resistencia Central players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FortinerosCaserosClub were winning 0-3.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mariano Egoi to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodrigo Paz during the 54th minute.
