Club Atletico La Docena's Honorato Sanson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Katia in the 4th minute of play. Honorato Sanson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Geronimo Katia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. If Alfonso Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st match minute, Club Atletico La Docena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Cedro to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico La Docena's Fulgencio Innocenzio got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Epuyén's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramiro Bras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Geronimo Katia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 41 minutes into the match, Club Atletico La Docena's goalkeeper Honorato Sanson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramiro Bras. Ramiro Bras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Honorato Sanson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leandro Dino was the one to do the kick off. Honorato Sanson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Bras in the 66th minute of play. In the 67th minute Geronimo Katia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorato Sanson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geronimo Katia in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Honorato Sanson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geronimo Katia in the 74th minute of play forced Club Atletico La Docena's goalkeeper Honorato Sanson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With 76 minutes on the clock, Nicanor Montel commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 78th minute there was a penalty for Epuyén. Candido Galindo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Honorato Sanson. 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Epuyén's zone, Alfonso Ramos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nestor Kelemen came out of the goal and Alfonso Ramos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Geronimo Katia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Honorato Sanson was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Geronimo Katia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorato Sanson having to interfere. Roman Cedro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Kelemen having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Epuyén fans cheered their team off the field, for while Club Atletico La Docena had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
