Spectators: 7262 (Terracing: 5448, Seating: 1670, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Narciso Sanduru started the match with the kick off. Honorio Gutxi might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nestor Kelemen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Honorio Gutxi ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 9th minute, Nahuel Asturi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the game, Huracan de Saladillo's Honorio Gutxi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nestor Kelemen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Francisco Gaskon, 19 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Honorio Gutxi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honorio Gutxi struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Nestor Kelemen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huracan de Saladillo. The audience was convinced that Narciso Sanduru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nestor Kelemen was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. Nestor Kelemen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorio Gutxi in the 28th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Epuyén's Saverio Gartzea got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Nestor Kelemen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorio Gutxi in the 34th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorio Gutxi in the 37th minute of play forced Epuyén's goalkeeper Nestor Kelemen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honorio Gutxi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Nestor Kelemen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 40 minutes, Honorio Gutxi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huracan de Saladillo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Honorio Gutxi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Narciso Sanduru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Kelemen having to interfere. Honorio Gutxi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Geronimo Katia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Honorio Onbera hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see Epuyén's Candido Galindo in action when he in the 57th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! 60 minutes into the match, Ramiro Bras notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Huracan de Saladillo's Paulo Foro. Paulo Foro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Ramiro Bras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honorio Gutxi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ramiro Bras blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulo Foro having to make a save. Paulo Foro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geronimo Katia in the 71st minute of play. After having played for 72 minutes, Narciso Sanduru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huracan de Saladillo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Narciso Sanduru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 75 played minutes Huracan de Saladillo got a freekick which was hit by Nahuel Asturi. When Geronimo Katia came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Epuyén fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geronimo Katia couldn't finish the play. Nestor Kelemen made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Honorio Gutxi sent off a good shot on target. If Narciso Sanduru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honorio Gutxi scored 1-3 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nestor Kelemen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Epuyén fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Huracan de Saladillo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
