Mechongué were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after Capitan Frio's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Godfredo Pirro took the corner. Mechongué's Godfredo Pirro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Aldo Laurgain in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. David Montrell kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 31st minute Cosme Corderun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Peli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filomeno Turi in the 45th minute of play forced Capitan Frio's goalkeeper Aldo Laurgain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tadeo Baristo struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Nestor Peli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Capitan Frio.

Aldo Laurgain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albano Nayely, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Cosme Corderun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Capitan Frio's supporters rose to their feet, but Cosme Corderun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
