Ramiro Bras ran back to his position shaking his head. When Saverio Gartzea fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Epuyén's protests and gave Saverio Gartzea a yellow card for diving instead. 20 minutes into the match, Epuyén's goal looked a bit too open when Cosme Corderun came free, but Nestor Kelemen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Epuyén's goalkeeper Nestor Kelemen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaac Rico. After having played for 22 minutes, Cosme Corderun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Capitan Frio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cosme Corderun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute, Candido Galindo had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. A collision led to Capitan Frio getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Isaac Rico hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cosme Corderun in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nestor Kelemen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Isaac Rico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Nestor Kelemen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Manuel Remicio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Isaac Rico came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Capitan Frio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaac Rico couldn't finish the play. If Cosme Corderun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 minutes of play, Epuyén's Saverio Gartzea made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aldo Laurgain was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ramiro Bras stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ramiro Bras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Aldo Laurgain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaudencio Elivareo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nestor Kelemen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosme Corderun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ramiro Bras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cosme Corderun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Isaac Rico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tadeo Baristo kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Ramiro Bras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Laurgain having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Cosme Corderun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nestor Kelemen was relentless in the 96th minute of the game.
