Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Feliberto Gai started the match with the kick off. Baldomero Bilintx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliberto Gai in the 4th minute of the match. Urbano Oso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Elija in the 9th minute of play. When Silvio Godoy came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the knaya fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvio Godoy couldn't finish the play. In the 14th minute, New Zanzibar's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Silvio Godoy fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. knaya's Baldomero Bilintx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sixto Sauveur in the 21st minute of play. In the 21st minute of the match Clodoveo Nataniel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Baldomero Bilintx showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to knaya getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Evelio Cedro hit a great ball. When Silvio Godoy in the 25th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Urbano Oso kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. After 32 minutes, Clodoveo Nataniel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the New Zanzibar and the knaya players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 38th minute, Teo Abreu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Prudencio Vistruario managed to get in a good position for a shot. knaya's supporters rose to their feet, but Prudencio Vistruario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Urbano Oso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. knaya's Juan Elija got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Silvio Godoy made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute knaya were awarded a corner. Juan Elija went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Danilo Chuse got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Urbano Oso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience was convinced that Silvio Godoy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Urbano Oso was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. After 62 played minutes knaya got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Chuse. Prudencio Vistruario took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Urbano Oso. New Zanzibar's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Baldomero Bilintx was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Feliberto Gai showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 66 minute of play. In the 70th minute, Clodoveo Nataniel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anastasio Oliviero struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Urbano Oso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for knaya. Ildefonso Oskarbi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baldomero Bilintx read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. In the 82nd minute Silvio Godoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urbano Oso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Anastasio Oliviero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the knaya defense, Ildefonso Oskarbi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baldomero Bilintx. The knaya fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baldomero Bilintx should have stopped the shot. Baldomero Bilintx made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Ildefonso Oskarbi sent off a good shot on target. New Zanzibar's Urbano Oso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evelio Cedro in the 93rd minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. New Zanzibar had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
