After a defensive mix-up in Chuchi's zone, Elpidio Refugio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnaldo Ticho came out of the goal and Elpidio Refugio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute, Higinio Hori got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnaldo Ticho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Refugio in the 32nd minute of play. Teodosio Bautista hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Arnaldo Ticho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elpidio Refugio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnaldo Ticho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elpidio Refugio in the 39th minute of the match. Elpidio Refugio might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnaldo Ticho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elpidio Refugio ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 45th minute Elpidio Refugio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Ticho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elpidio Refugio made a kick off. If Desiderio Rainerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnaldo Ticho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elpidio Refugio in the 56th minute of the match. Desiderio Rainerio succeeded in the game's 94th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. LAS CABRAS FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
