Gualterio Ruisko showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. With a little luck, Defensores de Lugano's Robustiano Quexal got control of the ball when Cesar Inge tried to sneak it across the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Defensores de Lugano's goalkeeper Robustiano Quexal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cesar Inge. Cesar Inge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 47 minutes, Bernabe Weather mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Defensores de Lugano and the Frente a Frente FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The supporters of Frente a Frente FC booed when Defensores de Lugano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Boni didn't get a good kick on the ball. 58 minutes into the game, Frente a Frente FC's Gualterio Ruisko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robustiano Quexal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Ladislao Lorenz charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ladislao Lorenz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 63rd minute, Ladislao Lorenz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robustiano Quexal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualterio Ruisko, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cesar Inge in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robustiano Quexal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gualterio Ruisko scored 5-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robustiano Quexal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Gualterio Ruisko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gualterio Ruisko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robustiano Quexal having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Inge in the 87th minute of play forced Defensores de Lugano's goalkeeper Robustiano Quexal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Siro Gorri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, Defensores de Lugano's Siro Gorri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enzo Ihintza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gualterio Ruisko struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Robustiano Quexal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Frente a Frente FC. If Gualterio Ruisko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesar Inge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robustiano Quexal having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Frente a Frente FC had played much better football throughout.
