Guido Avellaneda kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Deportivo Granate's goalkeeper Rolando Romelio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sergio Shantala. After having played for 12 minutes, Efrain Sabino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Granate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Efrain Sabino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godofredo Criston in the 13th minute of play forced Moldes's goalkeeper Marciano Innocenzio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Moldes's Tadeo Hernando sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Romelio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Moldes's Presiyan Gúrdanov slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rolando Romelio. That made the score 1-0 after 19 minutes of play. When Tadeo Hernando came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Moldes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tadeo Hernando couldn't finish the play. When Lázaro Elia fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Granate's protests and gave Lázaro Elia a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Granate's Lázaro Elia got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After 25 minutes of play, Moldes's Sergio Shantala made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Romelio was left in no man's land by his defense there! 31 minutes into the match, Deportivo Granate's goalkeeper Rolando Romelio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ramon Mateo. Deportivo Granate's Rolando Romelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Shantala in the 32nd minute of play. Moldes's Presiyan Gúrdanov got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tadeo Hernando got free with Rolando Romelio in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guido Avellaneda during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 43 minutes into the match, Deportivo Granate's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Shantala came free, but Rolando Romelio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tadeo Hernando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Presiyan Gúrdanov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Efrain Sabino to strike the kick off in the second half. Tadeo Hernando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Rolando Romelio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute Sergio Shantala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Romelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Presiyan Gúrdanov in the 59th minute of play forced Deportivo Granate's goalkeeper Rolando Romelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tadeo Hernando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute, Tadeo Hernando made a precise shot to the right of Rolando Romelio. Deportivo Granate's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Granate's goalkeeper Rolando Romelio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Godofredo Criston's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marciano Innocenzio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Rolando Romelio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeo Hernando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Deportivo Granate's Gregorio Etxahun slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marciano Innocenzio. That made the score 4-1 after 74 minutes of play. 78 minutes into the match, Presiyan Gúrdanov notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Deportivo Granate's Rolando Romelio. Rolando Romelio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Presiyan Gúrdanov in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Romelio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marco Sabin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Marciano Innocenzio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Godofredo Criston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rolando Romelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Mateo, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramon Mateo in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Romelio saved Deportivo Granate from getting behind. Rolando Romelio came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Moldes's Ramon Mateo. But to his dismay, Ramon Mateo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1.
