After having played for 33 minutes, Elpidio Tolino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Norberto Feliz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elpidio Tolino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonardo Palau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benigno Tipi, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Punta lara's Fulgencio Rexino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Norberto Feliz. That made the score 1-2 after 65 minutes of play. Eulalio Eriz kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Norberto Feliz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elpidio Tolino in the 75th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Tolino in the 78th minute of play forced Deportivo Pelongo's goalkeeper Norberto Feliz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute Camilo Avellaneda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Palau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle went the supporters of Punta lara were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Deportivo Pelongo side.
