Estrella Federal's Guaberto Socorro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Fernanco in the 72nd minute of play. Guaberto Socorro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benigno Tipi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. During the 77th minute of the match Benjamin Musko completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Benjamin Musko a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 78 played minutes Deportivo Pelongo got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Musko. Deportivo Pelongo played a much better game than Estrella Federal and deserved their victory. The Estrella Federal players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
