Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Balbus FC's Leo Abajas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Leo Abajas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florentino Abeijon having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Leo Abajas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Balbus FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Florentino Abeijon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeo Luke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Abajas in the 13th minute of play forced Taxhol's goalkeeper Florentino Abeijon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Melchor Fe made a precise shot to the right of Florentino Abeijon. Taxhol's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Leo Abajas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florentino Abeijon having to interfere. In the 25th minute Tadeo Luke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentino Abeijon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Melchor Fe notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Taxhol's Florentino Abeijon. Florentino Abeijon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Severino Rito hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute of the match Cleto Niguel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Florentino Abeijon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leo Abajas in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florentino Abeijon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Balbus FC's Tadeo Luke got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Leo Abajas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Melchor Fe came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Balbus FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Melchor Fe couldn't finish the play. In the 45th minute, Alfredo Walme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Alfredo Walme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Balbus FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredo Walme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florentino Abeijon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Leo Abajas struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Florentino Abeijon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balbus FC. Melchor Fe might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Florentino Abeijon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Melchor Fe ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 55 minutes, Alfredo Walme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balbus FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Walme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Taxhol's Florentino Abeijon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Taxhol from getting a goal against them. Taxhol's Florentino Abeijon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Abajas in the 65th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicasio Cordaro in the 67th minute of play forced Taxhol's goalkeeper Florentino Abeijon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lucio Illan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Florentino Abeijon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florentino Abeijon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Melchor Fe in the 72nd minute. Leo Abajas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florentino Abeijon having to interfere. Florentino Abeijon made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Melchor Fe sent off a good shot on target. Taxhol's Florentino Abeijon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Abajas in the 80th minute of play. After 81 minutes of play, Balbus FC's Melchor Fe made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Florentino Abeijon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tadeo Luke could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Florentino Abeijon made a huge save. In the 85th minute, Melchor Fe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alfredo Walme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the match, Taxhol's goal looked a bit too open when Leo Abajas came free, but Florentino Abeijon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leo Abajas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Florentino Abeijon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Balbus FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Taxhol.
