With a little luck, Paltoroa's Gervasio Gauargi got control of the ball when Ruben Honrio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nestor Koldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gervasio Gauargi having to interfere. Bartolo Eate was extremely unlucky when he, in the 10th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Nestor Koldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 22 minutes of play, Sunchal FC's Bartolo Eate made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gervasio Gauargi was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Nestor Koldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Sunchal FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Salvador Orzaize hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Paltoroa's zone, Ruben Honrio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gervasio Gauargi came out of the goal and Ruben Honrio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bartolo Eate received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Gervasio Gauargi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. David Mattin was the one to do the kick off. Bernardo Iban showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Mattin, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. In the 54th match minute, Sunchal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Hermon to maneuver through the defense. Bernardo Iban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Mattin in the 55th minute of the match. If Edelmiro Urbez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edelmiro Urbez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Bernardo Iban made a huge save. Edelmiro Urbez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sunchal FC's Bernardo Iban played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Mattin in the 68th minute of play. Bartolo Eate fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gervasio Gauargi having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Ruben Honrio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Nestor Koldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gervasio Gauargi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Koldo in the 80th minute of play. Eliseo Hermon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 84 minutes, Eliseo Hermon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sunchal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Hermon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 92 minutes, Nestor Koldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
